Goal-based, individualized music therapy designed to enhance your emotional, physical, social, cognitive and spiritual well-being.

Music has a unique way of interacting with the brain in order to achieve non-musical goals in just about any domain. It is an evidence-based practice and can often be the missing puzzle piece when addressing a problem or finding a solution.

You do not need to be skilled in music in order to benefit from music therapy, nor is musical training the intended outcome. We’ll work together to create a treatment plan that harnesses the power of music to help you reach your goals.

In my 16 years as a board-certified music therapist, I’ve worked with all ages across the lifespan, from infants to seniors. I’m most passionate about helping teens who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and social difficulties.

Just a few of the interventions we might use in music therapy sessions include therapeutic singing, instrumental improvisation, guided imagery set to music, songwriting, lyrical analysis, drumming, and music-based relaxation.

If you or your loved one might be a good candidate for music therapy, I would love to hear from you.

Music Therapy Groups

Interested in a music therapy group? I love partnering with schools, organizations, and members of the community to implement special population and topic groups utilizing music therapy. Groups are a wonderfully effective (and fun!) way to target social skills, communication, anxiety management, and overall wellness.
