Strengths-based, solution-focused counseling for teens, adults, couples and families in Illinois.
I’m here to listen without judgement, provide support, and serve as an accountability partner in your journey. I would be honored to meet you, learn more about your therapeutic needs and goals.
Counseling services are provided at Pepper Brown & Associates under the supervision of Tracy Howland, LCPC. Appointments (both in-person and telehealth) are available on weekdays between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm.

What is your therapeutic approach?
I work with you to not only identify your strengths, but to then apply them in order to find solutions to even life’s most difficult situations. In counseling, you are in the driver’s seat — I’m just here to help you develop the tools and skills you need to reach your goals.
Board-certified in music therapy since 2007, I have 16 years of clinical experience that has informed my creative, outside-the-box counseling approach.
Together we’ll focus on strengths and solutions (rather than symptoms and diagnoses) in order to make progress towards achieving goals. I employ these therapeutic modalities: solution-focused counseling, person-centered therapy, and music therapy.
What are your rates for therapy services?
Prior to scheduling your first full session, you must have a credit card on file in my secure client portal.
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently an out-of-network clinician with all insurance carriers. I can, however, provide superbills to you for possible out-of-network coverage.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you do not show for a scheduled appointment and have not contacted the office at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full cost of the session.
